Today is the DAY!!!.........MOVING DAY

Today is moving in day! We sign papers at 3:00 today and then it's time to get busy. We have everything loaded into trailers and will be unloading late this afternoon. I am so thankful for friends and family that live close by and are so willing to help! I would be lost without all the help I've had in the last few days!

I'll post some pics of the new house soon!

Update on Moving

Well...life gets interesting sometimes. As you all know we are moving. WE are set to Close next Friday, July 18th (on our old house and our new house). Well, Thursday Jus found out that he is going to be spending the 14th-17th in Kentucky for work. Eeekkk....that means we'll be doing most of the moving out of our house with out him. He'll be back late Thursday night, in time to start signing papers on Friday morning.

SO...anyone wanna move some boxes? LOL, just kidding, I think we have it covered. My brothers are coming and if I need to I can call some of our friends. We've had several people from the ward volunteer to help too. I'm so glad that we have friends and family close by to help us out when we need it.

I'll keep you posted!

Vacation in UT

We finally got a much needed break last weekend. Aunt Marian treated us all to a trip to Lagoon last Saturday. We had so much fun and the kids loved riding all the rides. Our day at Lagoon was cut a little short by a power outage but we made the best of it and went to our motel for a swim in the pool and then dinner at the Olive Garden.

After a wild dinner with 5 kids at the Olive garden we took a nice walk around temple square. The weather was beautiful and it was so nice to get away from the home buying chaos!

Sunday we went to Hogle zoo. Cole just wanted to see the white Alligator and Kay had her heart set on finding a Gorilla both kids left the zoo happy after seeing their animals and picking up a stuffed animal from the gift shop.

Sunday we headed home and it was n

ice to to be in a rush. We took our time on the drive home. We took the kids to Krispy Kreme (YUM). And the ultimate treat for a family of bookworms a trip to Barnes and Noble. THe kids each got a few books that kept them entertained the whole way home!

Of course the trip ended to quickly and before we knew it we were back at home on the house hunt again. WE had a great time though and can't wait to go again next year.

Getting discouraged! :(

Well it's been about 3 weeks since we put our house on the market and about 2 weeks since it sold. The house hunt is not going well. :( We've found 1 house that we liked, we put an offer in on the spot and didn't get it. (THey got an offer on the house within 8 HOURS of putting it on the market and it turns out that they actually got 3 offers by the time they got our offer.)

So...the search continues. I have an appointment to look at another house this afternoon but I'm not sure about it. It's a little further away from Jus's work than we were hoping for but I guess if we like the house it would be okay. We'll see!

I have a bunch of pictures to post of Cole's kindergarten graduation and some of KAyleigh in her new pink tu tu. I'll try and get them posted later tonight or tomorrow. :)

New CX projects!

I thought I'd post my CX DT projects here too! I have to say that I love these cards. My assignment for the month was to create cards that were "elaborate" "sophisitcated" and/or elegant. "Thanks" is my favorite, followed closly by "FRIENDS"

Hope you like them!

Here's my latest scrappy project.

It's a mini album that I did for Cole's Kindergarten Teacher. IT has a page with a picture for each student and then Cole drew some pictures of his favorite things from Kindergarten. I put "Always do your best" as the title because that is one of the rules in her classroom.

I hope she likes it. :)
